1st Industrial Advisory Committee (IAC) meeting for Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering, FER, KAU Rabigh was held on April 21, 2015.  Dr. Mohammad Bassyouni (Department Chairman) welcomed attendees to the 1st Industrial Advisory Committee meeting. He over-viewed the Chemical and Materials Engineering Department (students, labs and alumni). He briefed about the history of the Chemical Engineering Program and its objectives at the time of its inception. He handed over the hard copies of the Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering prospectus to the members of the committee. Dr Imtiaz discussed in brief the curriculum of the program. Dr. Imtiaz Ali presented the curriculum of the program and the role of the direct and indirect assessments in the continuous improvement of the curriculum. Laboratory in-charges briefed the members of the committee about the equipments in their laboratories during the laboratory visit.
