Inaugural Materials Advantage Chapter Ceremony

Celebratory events were held regarding having the Material Advantage Chapter in the department. The celebrations were aimed at encouraging students to become members of the Chapter and participate in our activities. Having been given a Charter from the Materials Advantage Chapter, the first ceremony was held within the Department, with the Dean, Vice Deans, Chairmen of other engineering departments and engineering students all attending. The event was a good opportunity to demonstrate the importance of our chapter. The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering spoke on the relevance of the Chapter and the benefits it offered to students alongside other societies. A large cohort of students attended, from freshmen to seniors, from the faculty of engineering who were interested in joining the Chapter.
